UK HORSE RACING

It could be argued that Horse Racing is the specialist subject of Moneta Communications staff, since prior to joining the company; half of the staff previously worked for bookmakers, meaning that an understanding of the sport's popularity and dynamics of the industry runs through the core of our day-to-day operations.

At the heartbeat of our racing offering is Today's Horse Racing, a hub for daily horse racing in the UK and Ireland, providing full colour racecards, form, results, odds, stats and previews for every race each day. In addition, the NAPS feature is a hugely popular section, detailing the 'best bet of the day' (NAP) from leading racing journalists and pundits, allowing visitors to make better informed betting decisions.

This compliments the tips section of the site, written by Channel 4 and RTE Ireland Racing presenter, Tom Lee, who provides an insightful preview and picks ahead of each weekend's racing fixtures, together with the main events throughout the year

ONE JUMP AHEAD

As far as the key racing fixtures are concerned, Moneta Communications has them all covered, starting with the Cheltenham Festival in March, where our site, covers every perceivable angle concerning the National Hunt’s premier event. The site prides itself on the coverage from October to March, reporting on all news, gossip, eye-catchers and market moves ‘on the road to the Festival,’ right through to the final race of the four-day meeting. A following of over 50,000 fans on Twitter and a further 30,000 on Facebook supports the site and adds a great community to engage in our content.

The Grand National follows the Cheltenham Festival in April and our dedicated site covers every detail of the world’s most famous steeplechase in great depth. A British institution, the Grand National attracts unprecedented levels of interest, most of which is from casual, 'once a year', punters. As such, the content accommodates the needs of these visitors with useful guides and advice on betting on the race.

FLAT OUT TO DELIVER RESULTS

Following the conclusion of the jumps season in the Spring, it’s straight on to the flat campaign and attention turns to the Epsom Derby on the first Saturday in June, before the five day glitz and glamour of Royal Ascot takes centre stage just a few weeks later. With sites for both of these events, we can tailor bespoke deals for either event or create a season long campaign covering other key flat fixtures including the York Ebor meeting in August, St Leger at Doncaster in September as well as Champions Day in October.

Our knowledge of Horse Racing, together with our experience in sports and search marketing means that we are able to deliver exceptional results based on our excellent content and understanding of user-behaviour.

IRISH HORSE RACING

When you think of Ireland, you think of Guinness, leprechauns and 'great craic' and almost as synonymous with the Emerald Isle is Horse Racing. The Punchestown Festival, Galway Festival and Irish Grand National are the key dates on the Irish Racing calendar that we have covered with specific sites.

The Punchestown Festival takes place at the end of April each year, with many familiar names from the Cheltenham appearing at the County Kildare track to either confirm or avenge Festival form. Our Punchestown site provides extensive coverage of the five day meeting with odds, tips and results for all races.

Ireland's most popular race meeting is the Galway Festival, which takes place in at the end of July each year over six days on the country’s West Coast. What makes this fixture so unique is that it is the only one both in Ireland and England that combines both National Hunt and Flat racing but there is so much more to this event with festivities in the city going on after racing each day.

The Cheltenham Festival or Punchestown Festival it is not in terms of quality but from a popularity perspective, it is a big week of traffic and one that drives great acquisition for bookmakers.

The Irish Flat Racing scene is covered within the pages of Betting Directory and all Group races, including the Irish Derby, Guineas and Champion Stakes are all covered in great depth on the site and attract plenty of interest in the run up to and on the day of the races.

INTERNATIONAL
HORSE RACING

INTERNATIONAL HORSE RACING

Whilst Moneta's core racing business concerns the UK and Irish markets, we have adapted an international flavour to our product portfolio with sites catering for some of the world’s most popular race meetings, these include: The Breeders Cup meeting in America, Australia’s Melbourne Cup, Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in France and the Dubai World Cup.

These one off events provide huge volumes of traffic from both horse racing fans in the UK as well as those in the country’s hosting. We adapt our content to cater for international visitors and whilst betting is restricted in some locations, our International Racing opportunities provide a great chance for brand exposure in new markets or for international bookmakers to partner with Moneta to maximise the potential of these popular one off events.
